Cambage stated in her tell all interview over the summer that she would go back to China if they reopened but still have yet to hear a confirmation if she's going or not.
i assume China’s season will remain fairly short and/or compact, such that the big names of the W playing there should be able to play out China’s full season & be back in time for Day 1 of training camp next year.

Their finals wrap up in March sometime. The earliest of any winter women's league. Only the WNBL ends sooner(I believe).
Add Bria Holmes to the list of foreigners in Russia as she signed and then debuted with Nika Syktyvkar. Once Alex Bentley plays in a game, that would mean more foreigners than last season.

I have not seen the schedule for this season, but pre-COVID, they were actually scheduled to end in late April due to the growth of the league. I would guess that it will not be quite as extensive this season since a lot of teams are still recovering, but they are supposed to have a more normal schedule than the abbreviated bubble seasons of recent years. The New Year's break and the Olympic qualifying break will basically coincide too so that should cut down on the long break that had been planned in 2020.

Alyssa Thomas will sign for Shanxi, if anyone was wondering about specific teams. Daneesha Provo is also reportedly playing in China. Finals will end either the 16th, 18th, or 21st of April as they will break for national team preparation on January 2nd.

Former Alabama player Brittany Davis as well as Ana Pocek to Liaoning
Daneesha Provo to Shaanxi
Brandi Harvey-Carr to Xiamen, along with player 0 below if any of you can help identify. Sometimes figuring out name translations in Chinese is tricky.
Han Xu reportedly played in Sichuan's opener today. If the WNBA or Liberty told USA Basketball to sign off on the FIBA Letter of Clearance in the middle of the Finals, that is weak as heck.
