Impressed with Mississippi State and what they are doing without any contributions from Carter so far.
I feel like I say this every year, South Carolina doesn't overwhelmingly impress me (yes they are very good), but they always seem to find a way to pull stuff out.

Now if Zia Cooke can keep this hot streak of shooting and scoring going for her, she should see a bump in her draft stock. I don't see her very high, but I think she can sneak into the first round if she keeps playing like this.
If she goes back to her inconsistent ways for a long stretch, she'll stay 2nd Round.

Illinois leads Ohio State 47-37 at halftime. The lllini have been fantastic this year with new head coach Shauna Green. She has really turned them around a lot faster than I imagined!

She has held Boston down offensively. As of right now, Boston's only 4-12 FG.
On the season, Boston just hasn't had to do much – just 11 PPG. She's barely been averaging 7 FGA/gm. The player who takes the most shots on the team right now by far is Zia Cooke at over 11 FGA/gm. Staley's gotta start to find more shots for Boston, cuz it's not gonna bode well for them come Tourney time if Cooke is still the one taking all these shots. (Cooke of course is currently 4-17 FG today...)
Caught the end of the Louisville/Pittsburgh game when I switched over to watch Notre Dame/UNC... Louisville rallied back to end up winning at the end. Obviously I didn't see it all, but it still looks like Louisville hasn't found their usual dominance that they've had in previous years and at this point, I don't think they will and it's going to be this for them now.

Carolyn Peck was trying to talk up Madi Williams' WNBA prospects because of her rebounding. I cannot think of a single perimeter player that has made a WNBA roster because of their rebounding lol.
