Entertaining end to Oklahoma vs Iowa State. Some good shotmaking down the stretch by both teams. Big block by Madi Williams on Ashley Joens to win the game. I don't really like Iowa State that much so enjoyed it.
Joens shooting 6-19 got them this loss even with Soares going down.
Curious stat - Ashley Joens hasn't shot well (above 40% from the field) in an ESPN televised game all season. There's been five of them. This correlates to Iowa State's best opponents, which isn't a good sign for her.
USC leads #12 UCLA 34-30 at halftime. A defensive grind *sighs*. Most impressed with USC sophomore Rayah Marshall who has 10 points and 5 rebounds. Charisma Osborne having a bit of a shocker, shooting 1/9 from the field.
Stanford scrapes through against Cal, 60-56. Stanford can thank Cameron Brink for the win - she had 25 points, 17 rebounds and 3 blocks and Cal were scrambling to defend her. The rest of Stanford struggled offensively while Cal shot better from outside - Stanford shot 4/20 from three while Cal shot 7/18.
Earlier on, UCLA mounted a comeback against USC to win 61-60. A game I'd like to forget tbh but UCLA freshperson Londynn Jones had a good game with 22 points.
