They're expected to get some kind cash from Amazon. Don't be suprised if TNT swoops in on the WNBA if the NBA backs off on them.

$200 million total would change things. Plus whatever more the league would get in further expansion fees. They're getting $50 million from Golden State and $115 million from Toronto. Who knows what they'll get from teams #15 & #16. Bigger salaries would likely result in a longer schedule (44 games)?.

I guess the remaining expansion teams will do the same.

And I still wonder if the fee is paid in cash, or it's deducted from sponsorship and TV payouts to the team.
