Given the structure, it's really glorified pickup basketball -- but with money on the line (future contracts). So wings have a choice: Throw the ball into the post so she can look good and get a deal, or hunt your own shot so you can look good and get a deal.
I went to the site to look at the stats from last year and they don't appear to have the traditional ones (points per game, shooting %, etc.) posted. Does anyone know if those are available?
Their stats page annoys the shit outta me. They have the %s on it, but they donāt post how many games each player has played, so you pretty much have to figure out per-game stats manually by counting how many games an individual player was in. Everything is total stats. But oh, the section for their goddamn points system gets to comprise those first few columns (I wouldāve made it last lol). š Fuckin' stupid imo. Yeah, if anyone else knows how to look up per-game stats, let us know.
It's a pain to find but one of the news outlets that covers the W did have a "real" stats page. I don't recall which. I want to say Winsider or HerHoopstats, but it may be someone else. However, if you look at the AU thread here (or on Reb) I believe someone posted a link.
The level of play is so low that I'm not sure it's really worth bothering. It was a league where T/ Hawkins was a superstar after all......
