Anastasia Kosu is the other big international prospect in this class, but it feels unlikely that any team will bother to pick her. A lot of other international prospects will need to show more by the end of the year to be in real consideration.

With my super early projected rankings lol assuming healthy rosters I think I have all the traded picks? Idk haha not important
Other possible first round options: Shyanne Sellers 6’2 G Lucy Olsen 5’9 G Maddie Scherr 5’11 G
Be kind to yourself, the way you expect others to be kind to you.
There will be a lot of guards available in 2025: Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd; Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron; Te-Hina Paopao, Bree Hall and possibly Raven Johnson; Saniya Rivers and Aziah James; Rori Harmon; Georgia Amoore; Charlisse Leger-Walker; Laila Phelia, Shyanne Sellers; and JJ Quinerly. That's 15 prospects without even considering frontcourt players like Iriafen, Malonga, Westbeld, Barker, Morrow, Lee, etc.
Yeah, I'm diving into a mock draft and it's extremely guard heavy. Outside of Kiki and maybe Westbeld, there's no standout post players in this draft. France's Malonga probably ends up a first rounder, especially if she can come over right away
Barring a late and unlikely change to the CBA or a special waiver, Jocyte is not going to be eligible for the 2025 draft per Article XIII Section 1 part e of the CBA (which states "An international player means any person born and residing outside the United States") because she was reportedly born in the US

Dominique Malonga is very interesting. She'll only be 19 for the 2025 season, but an athletic 6-6 player is always worth looking at.
She did only hit 19% of her threes, so that highlight doesn't add much, but she certainly looks like a WNBA player.
Janiah Barker I'm a little less sure about. Her good shooting came mostly against bad teams and she has twice as many turnovers as assists. But definitely worth watching this year.
Laila Phelia is a 32% three-point shooting wing with more turnovers than assists. Unless she's a defensive demon, don't see her as a difference-maker.
Does look like a decent first round, especially if Raven Johnson comes out.
Rori Harmon doesn't look like a shooter but her A/TO is dazzling. I like her better than you do.
As is often the case, too many guards arrive at the pro level with shaky perimeter shooting.
I'm sure things will drastically change once the college season gets underway. I don't even feel like Morrow is a top 5 lock right now. It's insane the guard depth for this draft class though. How many guards can one team draft though?

More to the point, how many of those guards can do all three of these:
1) Have a 3/1 A/TO;
2) Hit 35% of WNBA threes (against WNBA defenses); and
3) Stay in front of whoever they're guarding.
If they can't do all three, they're just another backup, and there are plenty of backups out there already.
