Honestly, the intensity level was pretty decent. The only thing that would be more monetizable would be a USA intra-squad scrimmage so this will probably stick around if they ended up making enough money. They did not make much noise about the Elam Ending being in effect, but that part did keep everyone playing hard until the end.
It was a much better showcase for small guards than anyone else even though teams clearly worked on a few sets, though Bella Murekatete seemed to make up for it by throwing her body around and trying to pick up fouls. Lauren Gustin was by far the most engaged post player. Mackenzie Holmes was invisible for most of the game and all it did was make me question how tall she is really. Honesty Scott-Grayson was the best early and Quenisha Lockett had one hot streak. Unique Drake won MVP and was big down the stretch with Dyaisha Fair also having her moments.
Dre Edwards was on my plane to Cleveland and got a shoutout from the captain before the flight.
