Yeah you better duck! Not sure if Gray has knocked the Liberty out of a single reg-season game, let alone a playoff round... even though Sloot herself probably has.
Sloot is fabulous in her own right, but she just can't be a team's first option in the playoffs and do absolutely everything herself when needed like Gray can.

after reading her insta letter explaining her decision, i still don't really get why Vegas from a family perspective? is Lailaa gonna start high school in Vegas? if not and she does so in LA, that's still a plane ride from LA to Vegas. a much shorter one than it would be from Chicago, but one nonetheless.

I agree, it makes no sense. Like just say you want to go to Vegas to play with the champs and be done with it.
Jackie Young being your worst starter is just ridiculous - all of Vegas's starters are all-WNBA level players or close to it. I suppose we do need the emergence of another superteam to prevent this season from being entirely predictable and inevitable.

Gray's scoring and defense is better than Sloot's, easily. You can argue over which one is the better playmaker and floor leader but there's no doubt about Gray's advantages in other areas of the game.
Kinda strange that the Aces haven't addressed the Hamby allegations at all. Neither has the WNBA, I think? Maybe they've been told to shut up for legal reasons but SOME kind of acknowledgment would be a good first step to resolving this mess.
I would absolutely understand if Hamby were to choose to never address the whole thing moving forward and avoid talking about it… but I personally hope she continues to bring it up, even if she has to be a little petty about it. 😜 I know it probably won’t happen, but I hope one day that she or an insider reveals who specifically said all that shit to her. I just hope Hammon & other coaches weren’t a part of it. No one in the front office would surprise me – administrative people can be a certain way, as some of us may or may not have direct experience with…

The WNBPA has promised an investigation. We shall see how that goes. I really hope the allegations don't just peter out into nothing. I'm sure some WNBA fans would love this to be swept under the rug because of PR reasons but these are proper societal issues that need addressing.
I'm curious if Parker has a press conference on Wednesday if any of the media will ask about Hamby.
Somebody should definitely ask Parker about this. It's something that's related to her move to the Aces and an issue that could affect all players league-wide.

I can’t add anymore to this, other than saying I absolutely agree.
I think the WNBA's treatment of pregnant players has been shameful -- but that said, it is at least remotely possible that Hamby is in the wrong in this case.
