Well, according to The Next's twitter bio, Megdal "leads" them. (He also "runs" High Post Hoops, fwiw.) Look at the bottom of both the Candace Parker-Chicago article and the Cheyenne Parker-Atlanta article, for example. The only rumor I haven't seen him connected to is the Allisha Gray one.
I was ready to go gung-ho on these supposed leaks earlier; but after reading the fine print, it unfortunately turns out that Megdal's much more a part of this whole operation than we may think. And listen: I want him and the reporters that work with/under him to be right about these leaks. It makes things a lot less messy when they are, and really adds to their credibility. But it works the same way, the other way; and if everyone (referring to the fans & writers more casual than us here or at r*bk*ll's) was paying attention, it would make things so much easier when it comes to holding those that call themselves journalists to a high standard.
Too, it may be these other reporters doing all the investigative journalism. But with his name anywhere on these articles, it really taints them for me.
