god we needed this win, especially against the Sky whom we need to miss the playoffs in order to increase our odds at the #1 pick. otherwise if the Mystics would like to remain bad/injured and tumble out of the playoff picture, i wouldn’t oblige…
sooooo the Liberty are just saving their best basketball for the stretch run of the season? or better yet, the playoffs themselves? i mean, i’m good with that level of 4-D chess if that’s really the case.
Lynx really caught New York on an off night on the second of their back-to-back. Two bench points tonight for the Liberty. Kudos to Sabrina for trying to save them tonight, but McBride and Miller were too much.
Also, Powers wasn't listed as out, nor did I see her on the Lynx bench tonight.

Liberty looked tired tonight. Stewart shot 5-18, Laney shot 5-13, no Sloot and Johannes and the bench didn't do much.

if you get chronically injured/are injury-prone, go with grace. retire. give your spot up to someone younger yet to prove their durability. this means you, Powers. this means you, Toliver. this even means you, EDD. (as clay said, she’s hardly this trendy marketable name in the W that gets the internet talking these days anyway.)

She was on the bench for the first half at least. I remember seeing her congratulate Mitchell for the buzzer beater. Maybe she went to the locker room when Engstler got injured? But yes didn't play, thank god..
it’s certainly nice to see Nolan get a rare shoutout, but my point still stands. the second triple-double in Shock history can be accomplished once the Detroit Shock get revived.
