i mean if y’all are beating supposed “superteams” on the road while missing amongst others your superstar player and remaining firmly in the playoff picture, imagine your roster next year with theoretically all the worst/most unreliable players of it replaced 👀 i certainly don’t see your Lynx missing the playoffs in 2024 if they’re not even missing it in 2023!

I don't foresee Clark or Bueckers entering in 2024. The 2024 draft will be Brink's draft. And I'm sure Reese will stay at LSU another year as well. 2024 draft may be Brink, Edwards, Van Lith and then Jacy Sheldon, the Aussie's Borlase & Puoch and Tennessee's Rickea Jackson as the top prospects.

Clark may want to set records that will never be broken as a result of her playing a fifth season, even as she’s on track to break records next season. Bueckers meanwhile may just want more time playing in college, since her injuries have gotten her very few. and Bueckers’ final season of eligibility could be as late as the ‘25-‘26 one if she wanted it to be, especially if the NIL money is comparable or even better than what she’d get by turning pro… which of course also applies to Clark amongst others.

Records, as they say, are made to be broken, and for some, they're really not a driving force. For others, maybe.

As for Bueckers, her injury history suggests she will have a short career. Maybe she would want to make sure she had at least a couple seasons in the W?

But of course you could be right. Interesting decision for both ...

today’s the day the Lynx’s chances at missing the 2023 playoffs effectively died in my eyes. these past two big wins all but seal the deal. question is, is this their peak for the season or will their ascent continue on?
