whew the difference in broadcasts from CBS (mens) to ESPN (women's) is drastic
assuming the men’s was clearly better, it’s only gonna get worse for the women’s when ESPN’s budget cuts come storming by through the course of the year, too 😬

I enjoyed that the men's went straight to questions and discussion about the Last In/First Out. They also seemed way more "knowledgeable" about the other teams and gave some talk about the teams that aren't the mains. Then they talked to the committee. They mentioned players on the lower seeded teams to keep an eye on.
The women went straight to talk to Boston/Staley and then did an another video. They finally asked questions to the committee that seemed tame. They didn't seem to talk about anyone who was under a 4 seed. Best of luck to y'all. I learned nothing "new"
While not shocking, it is noticed.
formerly pickdiamondmillerchallenge lol formerly dmillerturnprochallenge ha formerly bostonturnprochallenge lol
i find the difference in announcements between Washington’s and Oregon’s funny to compare. one program clearly hasn’t been to the postseason in a while and is happy to be invited, the other clearly didn’t meet expectations and is using a little bit of 🏀spin🏀 in theirs… 😅

Piggy backing off this, the cherry on top for me was when the ESPNU "analysis" show legit had the announcers reading "love letters" to members of this year's senior class as footage of season highlights played in the background. So freaking stupid.
The most interesting part of the whole two hours was Alyssa Pili being interviewed and seeing pictures of her family.
