So I went to their calendar for the arena and found that Zach Bryan is the reason they are losing the August 23rd game, but they still have the September game listed so unclear what bumped them for that....
looking positively: at least they aren't going to the convention barn or whatever it was last time and they are going to to a decent real basketball facility lol
formerly pickdiamondmillerchallenge lol formerly dmillerturnprochallenge ha formerly bostonturnprochallenge lol
if they have to offload regular-season games to other arenas then fine, but figure that shit out before the schedule release! it may not matter to some pre-existing ticket-holders but it may for others (transportation/access, gameday experience, etc). beyond the optics of getting temporarily kicked out, it feels like false advertising in a way.
of course, that doesn't make much of a difference when it's whole-ass playoff games that have historically gotten relegated to lesser arenas.
I've wondered what kind of deal Magic Johnson gets to have them still playing at Crypto.com Arena? Sparks are probably the team furthest away from coming to their pre-COVID attendance days.
