Sign-and-trade of Dev Peters (Lynx) for Natasha Howard (Fever) Storm re-signs Alysha Clark and Jenna O'Hea. Lynx re-sign Renee Montgomery and Sylvia Fowles. Dream re-sign Matee Ajavon and Tiffany Hayes.
I had some question as to whether Jenna O'Hea would stay with Seattle given her smaller role but she clearly likes the team and the atmosphere. Probably not good to move during an Olympic year either. Alysha Clark is a no-brainer: leader, glue player, fan favorite. Storm still have outstanding contracts with Crystal Langhorne (cored), Quanitra Hollingsworth (RFA), Ramu Tokashiki (reserved) and Sue Bird (UFA). They also didn't give a qualifying offer to Angel Goodrich so they need a backup PG (although they could possibly invite Goodrich back to training camp).
I figured Atlanta would want to keep Hayes. Not impressed with Ajavon myself. I understood why Indiana took a chance on Natasha Howard and was disappointed at how she seemed to regress last year. Getting Peters for her is quite a coup IMO. With Kizer, Larkins and Achonwa they have quite a tough post rotation now. I assume they will consider using Catchings at the 3 more probably backed up with Coleman which might explain not wanting to pay too much for Zellous. I'm guessing they will be looking for another guard.
I see they got Ajavon back. I wonder about Atlanta's PG situation. Last year they had Schimmel, Ajavon, Wheeler, Carter, and Cortijo all take turns at it. Out of that bunch, I'd only consider Cortijo a natural point guard with a decent PG skill set. I'm wondering if they bring Cortijo back or if they look elsewhere, or if they really want to give reigns to Shoni.
Great deal for Atlanta, imo...they now have Williams, Gray, Dantas and what's left of Sancho Lyttle...plus they still hold the #11, 13 & 16 picks?
This has to be a prelude to something for Conn....are they foolish enough to deal Williams, the 3 & 4 for the shot @ Jefferson?...if so, Atl. wins, SA wins...the Sun get a "local" kid who sells a few more tickets at WAY too high a price.

Am I the only one whose concerned why the Sparks haven't signed Nneka Oguwmike yet? Mean, she's the #1 pick from 2012, and yet the other draft picks got their deals right away. What's holding it up?
No need for concern, imo...I forget where she's playing currently, but quite often these deals don't get done until the player is back "home". She's not going anywhere else.
IMO this is the one true point guard they had last year. Probably a good move for them. I'd keep Shoni as an energy player coming off the bench as a 2 guard and some spot point guard work. I would not re-sign Carter.

She's playing for Dynamo Kursk in Russia. Seimone Augustus is also on that team as is Lindsey Harding.
RFA signings of stars are sometimes slow - remember Maya needing a printer? There's no chance that they won't offer her the absolute max possible, especially with Parker's future interest always a question.

Aneika Henry walks away from Atlanta and signs with the Sun. The Dream have been a revolving door since Coop came to town. Not a good sign for an organization trying to move upward.
