Nicely done Todd. NY is a very complicated situation. A lot would depend on whether Stewart is serious about NY, or not. Once that's determined, there are plenty of moving parts to consider. Joe Tsai may not have won any friends among the NBA/WNBA execs and other team owners with his charter flight fiasco, but I have to think the players were impressed. So the Liberty should do well in FA no matter what Stewart decides.
I kind of agree that Whitcomb play next year the WNBA, but maybe not for NY. She was still fairly efficient from 3 so some team will probably be interested. (I hope not Atlanta.)

Stewart is the key. I have no idea whether she's serious at all about NY -- though I'm guessing she is -- but neither team can do anything until she decides.
Good of them to highlight Fauthoux and Koné even if neither of them are currently under contract.
I don’t see why we wouldn’t see Koné come over in the next 1-3 years, but I wonder if we’ll ever see Fauthoux come over. Maybe it’ll depend on Johannès' status – or maybe not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If Johannes can convince Fauthoux to come over, she'd have to contend with Dangerfield for a spot. Don't see Brondello having both of them on the roster. I like the thought of Koné as Howard's back-up. Curious if Brondello would go with 5 posts next year with Han & Sabally available. They can always have Allen or Onyenwere as the 5th post in an emergency situation.
Sabally or Koné would be the development post and rarely play. I still see Onyenwere on the trading block with Allen under contract. Johannes comes back and their need in the draft would be a PG(Owusu).
That's really great. I hope that convinces the Chinese of the value of her playing the WNBA, and having it continue, hopefully with additional players coming over.
BTW - I didn't see that many Liberty games, but I don't recall her blocking that much or the hook shot. Was that part of her game this year?
Han is used differently with the Chinese National team then how Brondello used her. She's still not fond of banging inside and only had high rebounds against weaker post teams. Not sure she'll do well against the USA in the Finals vs. Wilson, Bri Jones, A Thomas.
I wonder how Jackson did. The clip where she got blocked by Han Xu was not a good look for LJ.
LJ looked good in the round robin games. By the knockout rounds, she looked tired and slow. Playing 8 games in 10 days is exhausting, but moreso for someone that is 41 years old.
